  1. Otis Rush/Albert King: Door to Door (Chess)
  2. Informal recordings recorded at a rooming house in Montreal, Canada, 1967 - Muddy's band playing acoustic instruments and seemingly just having a good time playing for themselves.
  3. Rock Me All Night Long (Flyright)
  4. Zuzu Bollin: Texas Bluesman (Dallas Blues Society Records)
  5. Nope. They seem like period pieces to me.
  6. SF fans favored Orlando Cepeda from the time he was a rookie in 1958, the year the Giants came to San Francisco, over Mays also. Go figure.

  8. Carter, Gillespie, Inc.
  9. One of the first jazz records I bought (when I was 17) and still a favorite.
  10. I'm probably in a minority, but I prefer the American version of Rubber Soul.
  11. Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson Sings the Blues (Muse) Good compilation of Cleanhead's vocal tracks from several LPs. Clever liner notes by Pete Lowry,

  13. Nappy Brown: Don't Be Angry
  14. Going to New Orleans (Flyright)
  15. Too Hot to Handle (Flyright)
  16. Jah Lion: Colombia Colly (Mango)
  17. My pleasure (and my friend's), Claude.
