To me, Ron Artest was the MVP of the finals. Kobe and Gasol had a couple of good games each, but Artest was there throughout, playing tough defense. He never really let Pierce get untracked. But the MVP will just about always go to a star. That's probably the way the NBA wants it.

Seems like a pretty shakey premise, but good for Marshall, Texas that they had a concert/celebration honoring the music and one of their own.
