  1. David Bowie "The Gouster"
  2. The SACD. Been too long since I've enjoyed this session.
  3. All this talk and playing of this made me jump on the wagon. This time around it's the cd set, disc 1.
  4. Ah, the cd version is finally out and on deck. . . and worth the wait. (I did not go for the RSD vinyl).
  5. The Blu-Spec CD2
  6. Benedetti, Parker, Roach, Three Deuces 1948
  7. Toni Harper with the Oscar Peterson Quartet
  8. An old favorite I've neglected too long. Great playing and sound and wonderful music!
  9. Disc 6 of the James P. Johnson Mosaic set.
  10. This woman is an awesome pianist and singer.
  11. I think they may have made a mistake outsourcing their shipping. It really was never the same after that. But I'm patient and I've always eventually gotten what I ordered, and I love their products.
  12. The only baseball game I ever really remember going to was to Connie Mack Stadium in Philadelphia in the mid-sixties, probably '64 would be my guess, I was 9 and it was the only time my Dad ever took me to a sporting event (my father was a busy minister then and not into sports. . . probably explains why I'm not as well). I saw Willie Mays hit a home run against the Phillies. That's really all I remember, he was a big deal and I saw him hit a home run. I'm going to have to dig out the Goodman set and listen . . . there's gold on those discs.
  13. Great! I can skip that one!
  14. Nice that Fresh Sound reissued this. An excellent trio session (plus extra material). Legge was with Dizzy for a while, did a session or two with Mingus. . . he deserved a longer career and wider recognition.
