  1. When I was a poor college student, I still didn't rip people off. ever play an album for a friend who didnt own it?
  2. ooh man look out, guys chuck nessa has quotation marks and he knows how to use them!
  3. so i wont fucking share on this forum. youre not going to stop me from doing so elsewhere. and youre not going to make me feel bad for doing so. i never wouldve have financially supported organissimo had i not heard their music illegally first. im a poor college student. i dont get to buy that many albums, so i want to buy good albums. no matter what guilt trip you lay on me, i wouldnt own half my collection if it werent for torrents and the like. my criminal activity has made many artist money. i can sleep at night plus what about super obscure albums? wanna inform me of a shop where i can walk in and purchase Skilfullness by Alan Silva? cos i sure as fuck cant find one

You avatar isn't bad either. you a fan? That's a young Trotsky, right? hahaha, hes not that far left. but commie or no, hes a musical genius. along with his homeboy jonny.
  6. some would see it as me promoting other people's stuff. im all for people downloading music, but if you like got out and buy it! and thanks for the answer, jim.
  7. well, they definitely have prog rock albums. have you heard animals? about as traditional proggy as it gets and bands like amt def still adhere to prog principals. long indulgent ever changing songs, concept albums.
  8. I guess not. I'm not sure they're prog bands. Birthday Boy Blows Out Candles on Nine-Hour Prog "Concerto" eh. japanese noise wank. definitely falls somewhere in prog. but no, not your typical prog band like Yes or Pink Floyd or Tool
  9. so whats this forums policy on sharing copyrighted material?

  15. BSS is okay. i was really diggin on you forgot it in people when i first heard. its grown a bit old now and i never could get into the other two. YFIIP would be a good listen for anyone into that kind of spacious indie stuff
  16. i got a pair of philips at best buy. the noise cancellation works decently, but the sound quality is fantastic. deep base an crisp highs. they cost me about $75 and were totally worth it
  17. you realize you can avoid this by illegally ownloading? I hope you're joking, and not promoting illegal downloading. im not joking. i find it to be the best marketing tool available to rising artists. i wouldnt own half the albums i do if i didnt preview them (omg illegally) first.
  18. if youll notice i have about twelve posts and joined a couple weeks ago. what some would call a n00b.

  20. as for early, noisy sonic youth, i think confusion is sex takes the cake. the only other big black album ive heard is songs about fucking, and it was okay, so im not too sure about wsham
  21. zappa sucks, hendrix is okay. highway 61 would fall somewhere in the top 100 along with beethovens seventh symphony oh and no such thing as too much radiohead
