  1. The problem was with the first disc. Song number 1 should have been Saturday and Sunday but actually was Hipnosis. When I ordered the set it came with both the problem disc and the corrected disc.
  2. And they have free shipping right now. Coupon code: JulyShip

  5. I got a list of the cd's on sale for $8.99 from borders. Looks like about 75 of them. Some rvg's (not all), definitives, a few regular blue notes, a few big band stuff etc. I was hoping more of the regular blue notes would be on sale. If I could figure out how to scan the list, I would.
  6. Combine the $8.99 sale with this coupon and now we have a real deal at $7.19. 20% off
  7. scottb, Thanks for the search tip at half, unfortunately the ones I want are selling for way to much. I'm not willing to pay 35-40 bucks each for these...I don't want them that bad!!!
  8. Only 7 more to go....someone help me, pretty please!
  9. I saw Roy a few weeks ago. He was absolutely amazing. I never would have guessed by watching him that he is 78 years old. He had the energy of someone half his age or better!
  10. My Dark Side Of The Moon disc is cracked at the center but still plays for now. I'm holding off on buying Blue Train as it sounds like that one has the cracking problem. I wonder how many other of my sacds are going to self destruct
  11. I feel like buying another copy of Organissimo just cause of the funniest shipping confirmation I ever received! 1 ORGANISSIMO: waiting for the boogaloo sister $13.99 $13.99 Sub Total $13.99 Shipping $2.25 Grand Total $16.24 Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow. A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure it was in the best possible condition before mailing. Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money can buy. We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of Portland waved 'Bon Voyage!' to your package, on its way to you, in our private CD Baby jet on this day, Saturday, June 28th. I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did. Your picture is on our wall as 'Customer of the Year'. We're all exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!! I'm wondering why they marched to the post office if they put it on their private CD Baby jet???
  12. My evening consists of: Kenny Dorham - Matador Joe Henderson - Mode For Joe Duke - Reprise Mosaic Herbie Hancock - Speak Like A Child Three Sounds - Live At The Lighthouse
  13. I had to vote for Bret Favre, just cause I'm a huge Packer Fan!! and the Bears still suck!!!
  14. I'm no longer Organissimo-less! Just placed my order, can't wait!
  15. graveyardmall.com is having a Fathers Day sale of 15% off (coupon code: JuneSale). The 15% off helps offset their high shipping cost. I ordered: Reuben Wilson: Blue Mode Lou Donaldson: Blue Breakbeats George Russell: The African Game Lou Donaldson: Mr. Shing-A-Ling Andrew Hill: Eternal Spirit Donald Byrd: Fancy Free Too bad Donald Byrd: Blackjack is not in stock.
  16. I have Jimmy Smith - Softly as a Summer Breeze and Andrew Hill - Grass Roots (both sealed) for trade for any of the ones I have listed above.
  17. What Shrugs says...the only classical I buy is on sacd. I love listening to classical in multichannel sound! There are some great jazz sacds out there but not nearly enough! I just picked up the new Chick Corea - Rendezvous in New York multichannel sacd...sounds fantastic to me. As much as I like the multichannel sound (if done right), my favorite sacds are Miles Davis - Cookin' and Sonny Rollins - Way Out West (stereo only).
  18. I do have the RVG but I want the Conn just cause...
  19. Thanks CS500 for Baby Face Willette - Stop and Listen
  20. My favorite pair of "slippers" would have to be Mingus - Ah Um and Wes Montgomery - Full House. My Rock "slippers" are The Feelies - Crazy Rhythms.
  21. Here's what I need to complete my connoisseur collection. If anyone has these for sale, I am greatly interested! J.R. Monterose Clifford Jordan - Cliff Craft
  22. Just e-mailed you about the Fred Jackson. Thanks!
  23. Thanks Alexander for the suggestions, I'll look for them. I just ordered Persistant Dreams, Presage and Dave Kikoski from half.com. He sure didn't look like he had any problems with his hands last night!
