I had that Japanese pressing, too; sold it after the Connoisseur CD came out and I needed shelf space. I remember it sounded excellent. And the music is great, too. Watkins was something special.

no dawg that IS the front.  i did a shot of a one handed flip of it to prove it.  in pic 1 you can see the lp 1/2 way out of the jacket, on the RIGHT side.  the back slick IS the front slick, no actual "back".  yea im guessing a promo-- isnt it wild!!!!!
