Just received a prompt replacement LP for one of my RSD Bill Evans sets from Resonance so thumbs up to them for that. :tup

Glad to hear that they resolved your problem quickly.  It's no fun when goodies arrive and they're defective.

So good for them ... and good for you.  :)

Cheers - just one side but the fault was an annoyance. Replacement disk is pristine - and they included a Bill Evans covid mask !

Sheila Jordan - Lost and Found (Muse, 1990)

Terrific.

EDIT:  Listening to this LP just now, I was really locked in on Ben Riley.  What a subtle virtuoso he was.  He was lifting his bandmates up, so I feel the need to lift him up.  Thank heaven for Ben Riley!

I'll never forget listening to this brand-new with Russell and Shelly Littt and and Hal and his wife in Hal's apartment. I don't think Joe was there.

Definitely, I like it very much. And great RVG sound on my Black and Blue copy.

I have a Liberty issue too plus it is also on that nice Stanley Turrentine Mosaic I think. Thad Jones also brilliant as usual.

Out 'Dere was recorded in 1980, but -- if you were listening to it blind -- you'd likely think it was made in 1970.  It's got the Hammond B-3 soul-jazz thing through and through, right on the nose.

An excellent platter .... btw a Blue Note session still (due to the late 60's release date ?) flying under the radar ....

Susannah McCorkle - The Songs of Johnny Mercer (Inner City/Black Lion, rec. 1977)
Early McCorkle, not yet as convincing as she would become later (IMO).
