A lot of people don't like this one but personally I love it. The sound of this stereo issue is also outstanding - one of the best I have heard from the 'Liberty' period. Must be one of the last heavy vinyl Blue Notes.

The cover, of course, is priceless !

I have no problems with my mono copy - other than the big MONO sticker on the cover!

It's a great session, and sorely underrated. :tup

I've had it for a very long time but last night it really got to me in a way it hasn't before. And I also wondered if the last track, the beautiful "Time for my children", had something to do with the fact that we never heard from Freddie again afterwards - did he actually retire from music to have a family life?. I'm going to be getting this out more frequently for a while, I think.
