I saw one on GEMM for $25... naturally, it was gone when I tried to order!
clifford_thornton
Hope you enjoyed it, too. (edit - Oh - I didn't mean to imply you weren't working, Chuck.) MG I wasn't really working. I was there to book studio time with Rudy. Was this the Chuck Nessa-J.R. Monterose duo?

ep1str0phy
I've been getting really conscious of my ears lately (especially recovering from congestion, being a musician--it just sucks not to hear those nuances...). Health is such a fragile thing... I think I'll be spinning Ornette's The Great London Concert again shortly...

Yeah, I eat well and ride my bike a lot, but then I smoke and drink like a total bitch. They cancel one another out, most likely. michel1969
This afternoon (not too busy) : Burrell, Flanagan, Adams Chambers + Clarke "jazzman Detroit" on Savoy, DG orginal. I don't know if Mr Savoy used to organize rehearsals like Mr Blue and Mr Note, but i can assume that this is one of the best hard bop session of the 50's. its brilliant, moving, funky... later : Curtis Counce "Exploring the Future" Dooto original DG. michel1969
Nice! Mine is only a King... but it was cheap! I bought this NM one in 1999. It was still affordable for a young history professor.
