TRIO IMPROVVISAZIONE "Like a Breath" Trio recording, w/ Guido Braesola on viola, Marco Canepa on piano and Adriano Mondini on Oboe and English Horn.

Very interesting recording. Reccomended. Metalanguage. 1982.

This is SUCH a GREAT RECORD, maybe my favorite by her after "Something Cool." The version of "Lazy Afternoon" on here is my favorite version of that tune.

And I LOVE The Great Pete Rugolo!!!

Yusef Lateef "At Cranbrook" Argo 634 Black DG original. No split pack cover... Found this one in fine condition, :) but with a broken edge... :( First two or three minutes are not audible...

So would that be a "great find" or a "not-so-great find" ?

I think I'd even pass on a holy grail if it had a chip out of the vinyl...

A not so great find. As a collector even the cover in itself will satisfy me...the record will fill it, till i find a better copy, really collectable.

What if it was 50c or a dollar?

I'd buy a candy bar.

I have very few "filler" copies in my collection; would rather wait until the copy I want comes along. Then again, I consider blue-label BNs or green-label Prestige vinyl "keepers" if they're in fine shape. It's the Meriendorfstrasse FMPs that I'm picky about...

My first copy of Cecil Taylor's Transition date (picked up in 1966) was worn white and sounded like it. Kept that copy after I found a good one and got more than a few bucks for it when I dumped vinyl.
