It was a pleasant surprise for me to have Clifford Jordan on it, he is very strong, as is Eddie Khan on bass. But then, it was on another label, it was the French "America" Label, which had mostly Mingus records from the sixties. America/Musidisc reissued several Debut and Fantasy titles in France, in addition to a bunch of new recordings from Shepp, the AEC, Dave Burrell, Frank Wright, Alan Shorter... excellent series. Quote
