JSngry
Dan's alive, well, chilling out/redirecting his time & energies, and occasionally lurking.

Dan Gould
well, I'm still kind of new here, but just found this thread in the archives and have to revive it - man, this Gould guy is sharp -I gotta go out and get me some Blakey cds - Thanks for bringing this up. I couldn't find it before, this may be easier in terms of listing things out, at least for a while. Only difference is that my A to Z included CDRs of both CD reissues and LP transfers, so it doesn't reflect what I will be offering in this commercial CD Stupendous Sale. Guest I'mdrooling
long as Mr. Nessa stays away, we're ok - who's this "Ayler" everybody seems to mention? Sounds like the name of an insurance salesman -
BruceH
long as Mr. Nessa stays away, we're ok - who's this "Ayler" everybody seems to mention? Sounds like the name of an insurance salesman - Albert Ayler, free-jazz guy, came to prominence in the 60's.
Guest I'mdrooling
has the same name of a guy I used to work with at the phone company - probably not related, this guy was from Cleveland - no decent jazz musician ever came out of Cleveland -

Guest I'mdrooling
well, there was Eddie Wausau, an ok pianist I used to go see at the Holiday Inn; wasn't bad as long as you didn't mind hearing "Secret Love" and "More" twenty times a night -
