Jazz Kat Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Wallets dont get returned. At least not with the money in it. I was shopping for music once in Borders, and checked in my pocket and my wallet was gone. No where to be found. Quote

connoisseur series500 Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 I once left my wallet at a public phone at the train station in Nagono, Japan when I was in my 20s. I rushed back after a half hour or so, and there it was undisturbed and everything. Those Japanese.... Quote

JohnJ Posted March 30, 2005 Report Posted March 30, 2005 I once left my wallet at a public phone at the train station in Nagono, Japan when I was in my 20s. I rushed back after a half hour or so, and there it was undisturbed and everything. Those Japanese.... Not recently Conn. My wife recently had her bag stolen from inside the ladies toilet in a department store. Some guy rushed in, reached over and grabbed it, and run off. He ran straight past me, but I had no idea at the time what he had done, even though I thought it strange to see him running so fast. By the time my wife emerged in a panic, he was long gone. I have other experiences of less that honest behaviour too. Quote
