After weeks of frustration it's all finally come together and we are moving tomorrow. Not going far, just a little way out of the city to a modern house with garage and parking. Off street parking is a rarity in Portsmouth with its rows of terraced house around 100 years old and roads made for horses and carts. Lower heating bills too.

Now the records are boxed up my vinyl collection is revealed as embarrassingly large, didn't look to half as many when on the shelves.

I'm told it'll take seven working days to get broadband up and running again so I won't be here for a couple of weeks. I'll miss my visits but they'll be plenty to do around the house.

If you want to volunteer for AOTW please be patient.

See you soon.

John, I just moved about 900 miles with my wife. It is amazing how much we've accumulated in such little time. Boxes and boxes of music. The movers were a total nightmare, but we're here now and everything is going well. That is all behind us now. It is always fun moving into a new home. Best of luck!

:tup Good luck John. You'lll feel like a nomad for a few weeks while you settle in but then it's exciting getting to know the new area.

Hope all goes (has gone) well.

Of course, you have that great moment awaiting you in the future. You know, when you find that unopened box in the closet with all those LPs you thought you'd lost in the move. Damn, that's fun!
