jazzmessenger Posted January 7, 2006 Report Posted January 7, 2006 I didn't play during regular season, and Washington at Tampa Bay is already in the third quater. But if it's not too late, here is my pick: Washington New England Carolina Pittsburgh Quote

Soulstation1 Posted January 13, 2006 Author Report Posted January 13, 2006 SATURDAY GAMES CAROLINA @ CHICAGO NEW ENGLAND @ DENVER SUNDAY GAMES PITTSBURGH @ INDY WASHINGTON @ SEATTLE Quote
Shawn Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 (edited) I think the Seattle game is on Saturday and the Bears game is on Sunday..... I haven't played for awhile, but here are my picks for this weekend Seattle will squash the Rednecks...er...Redskins like a bug. Denver/New England is a toss-up....I'm leaning towards New England though. Pittsburgh will fight hard but will be bested in the end by the Indy offensive jugernaut. Chicago probably won't let Carolina past the 50 yard line...Chicago wins. Edited January 13, 2006 by Shawn Quote
Noj Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Carolina (squeak by Chitown in a game with less than 30pts total scored) Denver (I, of course, want the miserable cheating Pats to lose) Pittsburgh (I expect Indy to choke) Seattle (annoying dude next to me at work is a Skins fan, I want them to go down) Quote
jazzmessenger Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 I don't think anything drastic will happend before the games, so here is my pick. Carolina (I don't see Bears scoring enough points to win this game.) New England (Nobody beats Broncos in Denver, but I have to go with Patriots because they never lose in playoffs!) Indianapolis (I am not a Colts fan, but I doubt Steelers offense can keep up with Colts offense.) Seattle (Seahawks are simply a better team than Redskins.) Quote
Soulstation1 Posted January 13, 2006 Author Report Posted January 13, 2006 Marcus Vick is my new main man.... Quote
Soulstation1 Posted January 13, 2006 Author Report Posted January 13, 2006 i wish the steelers played first thing saturday, so we can get them out of the way... Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 (I, of course, want the miserable cheating Pats to lose) Old Nojjy at it again... The word is D-Y-N-A-S-T-Y! And they "cheated" their way right to the top! Yes, I know the Dynasty is in great jeopardy with Indy on the prowl in the AFC... Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 ok, something i just thought of for the play-offs sound fair? let me know this week 1 point a game (4 points possible) 2nd week 3 points a game (12 p/p) 3rd week 4 points a game (8 p/p) super bowl 6 points and total points for tie breaker (6 p/p) total 30 points possible WEEK # 01 Wild Card jazzmessenger 4 points conn 3 points ss1 3 points ed 2 points WEEK # 02 WEEK# 03 WEEK # 04 Super Bowl I say "fine!" However, these scores shouldn't be combined with the regular season scores since they won't have equal rating. Whose the regular season champ, SS1? Just curious... Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 After deep spiritual thought, my picks for this competitive weekend: CAROLINA (Bears will come in all fired up, but Carolina is the more complete team.) NEW ENGLAND (Belichick will find a game plan to frustrate Plummer and stop the Denver running game) INDIANAPOLIS (Steelers will give them a good fight, but Indy is destined this year...) SEATTLE (Team is way too complete for Washington.) Good luck everyone! Quote
Soulstation1 Posted January 14, 2006 Author Report Posted January 14, 2006 DENVER CAROLINA INDY SEATTLE (WASHINGTON IS MY SLEEPER PICK) Quote
Edward Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I also choose Denver, Carolina, Indy, and Seattle, although I am rooting against Denver and Indy. By the way, how annoyed are the rest of you with those really lame Pepsi machine commercials? Someone in marketing at Pepsi Co. should be sent packing. Quote
JSngry Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 As much as I don't want to, if Washington gets past Seattle I'm going to have to seriously start thinking "Team Of Destiny"... Quote
Soulstation1 Posted January 15, 2006 Author Report Posted January 15, 2006 i ain't no wuss, i'll pick w/ the point spread washington +9.5 vs seattle (L) denver - 3 vs ne, my lock for saturday colts - 9.5 vs steelers, lock for sunday carolina + 3 vs chicago Quote
