Could the guitarist be Mike Pingatore who is listed as playing himself in the credits? He is also known as Mike Pingitore who played guitar with the Paul Whiteman orchestra and also on sessions with Billie Holiday. I'm not so sure about Jack Lesberg being the bass player... And the film quality isn't much better, since it is in the public domain. Still worth watching once for the music.
