catesta Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 Is that Barney Miller he's sitting next to, or Omar Sharif? Ha! That was the first thing I thought of when I saw that picture. Fish is probably in the bathroom. Quote
catesta Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 I often wonder if Gabe Kaplan would ever stand a chance with a chick like Jessica Alba? Quote
catesta Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 A chance at what, surviving? Hey, that could be a new reality series. "Surviving Gabe" Quote

Kalo Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 oops! thought this was the "rabe" thread! Tasty! I much prefer Rabe to Gabe. I remember kind of liking the "Kotter" show when I was youngster, but my sister loved it. She was definitely a Travolta fan. She even used to tape the show, on a cassette deck, and listen back to the soundtrack. That was, of course, well before the days of home video-tape machines. My favorite part of the show was the short bits where Kotter told his TV wife a joke; I remember thinking she was pretty hot. Quote

BERIGAN Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 I fucking Hate Gabe Kaplan! I hated the show!!! He did a bad Groucho as well! I hope things are going well for him these days. Quote

Welcome Back Kotter was one of my favorites. TVLand should get it's shot together and put the show in the programming schedule. As for Kaplan these days, he does color commentary on one of those poker shows. Quote
Alexander Posted March 30, 2006 Report Posted March 30, 2006 (edited) If they ever do a "John Travolta: The Vinnie Barbarino Years" TV movie, they should consider "Idol" heartthtrob Ace Young for the role... Edited March 30, 2006 by Alexander Quote
