T.D. Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Holy effin' s**t! Pats acquire Randy Moss for 4th round pick! The price seems reasonable. Can't say it's a bad deal for the Raiders, since the dude didn't wanna play there... Conn, please analyze this one for us... Quote

Wait till you hear about the contract! 1 yr contract at $3 mil. plus $2 mil in incentives. Can you say "steal?" Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Moss was quoted as saying he would redo his contract only for a team like NE. He wants to win. SS1 told me on the phone that Randy had lost a step. Pats timed him a few weeks ago in Florida, and he ran a 4.29, 40-yards. Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I now answer my telephone: "Randy Moss' residence!" Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 the guys on ESPN said the Pats are the FAVES to win the Supa Bowl !!! I felt that way even before we got Moss. Our second day draft has been pretty crappy, however. Lots of developmental players and flat out tossaways. Loaded up for next year's draft, though, with 2 first rounders, 1 second round, and 2 third round picks. Quote
Aggie87 Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 I'm not overly impressed with Dallas' draft. I think they got a solid OLB in Anthony Spencer in the first round, but after that there was too much wheeling and dealing by Jerry Jones, and all of the players that came after that are pretty unimpressive or average at best. Picked a coupld of OL guys, and reached for a QB who'll be converted to WR (Isaiah Stanback from Washington). Hopefully they'll prove me wrong, and they end of with some players that develop into something. Quote
Shawn Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 I predict Moss will give 110% to the Patriots. He knows that he's in the tail end of his career and he wants a shot at a Superbowl ring. I don't think Moss will be a distraction because that just won't be allowed in New England. Quote
connoisseur series500 Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 It's Monday morning and I'm wondering where the weekend went. I had my face in the draft the last couple days. Quote
Shawn Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 It's Monday morning and I'm wondering where the weekend went. I had my face in the draft the last couple days. I feel your pain. I watched the entire first day (all 12+ hours of coverage on NFL Network) and I watched a good portion of yesterday's until I fell asleep on the couch. Quote
