Big Al Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 Any thoughts on the best place to find Cugat's RCA work, from about the late 30's to early 40's, on CD? All I've heard from him is "One Two Three Kick," "Green Eyes," and "Night Must Fall." Thanks! Quote

mikeweil Posted August 12, 2007 Report Posted August 12, 2007 I have to of them and can recommend them - good sound, classic selections, including Miguelito Valdes' famous BabalĂș. The earlier recordings on these Tumbao CDs are far more interesting muscially than the later stuff. If you wanna dig deeper, there is another CD on Harlequin without duplications of the Tumbao discs.
