I have a few from that list of Hats and can thoroughly recommend the Grossman, Jorgensmann's Snijbloemen and the Shipp album listed. I'm very sure that Eskelin disc will be pretty top notch too although I've only heard two of his other albums from the label.

Worth a try at that price anyway!

I own a few of them, but off the top of my head the Eskelin and Konitz discs are both pretty good. Just for clarification, the Eskelin is actually a reissue of a recording that Eskelin self released several years back.

I pulled the trigger for Eskelin, Konitz, Maneri, Newton, and Ortega.

Also went for regular priced items Clusone Trio's Rara Avis and Braxton's Nine Compositions (Hill) 2000 while I was at it. Been wanting both of those for a long time.

Anyone familiar with this Shipp (By the Law of Music), and how it compares to other items in his catalog?

I nabbed a few things this week... some I have in other versions (i.e., Feldman), but hell, it's less than $4 a pop.

they email when they ship. It usually takes around 3 weeks for these special Hat sales, as they usually have to order them from Switzerland first.

I received an email called a sales receipt about two days after i ordered.

Finally got an e-mail receipt today, along with notice that my stuff will be shipped.

I'm afraid I'll be ordering from these guys again soon, especially since they seem to stock most of the New Dutch Swing titles I've been coveting for ages, among other labels/titles.
