The last days of Circuit City

From what I understand a retailer going out of business will make more money selling its stock to other retailers--that's why CC isn't slashing prices for the public.

I read that they will close around MARCH. So there's no rush to increase the discounts.

I was at Zabar's this afternoon, so I crossed the street to see what was happening at Circuit City. Well, it was depressing. Not much left and what is there is "the last one." They are now also selling the shelves themselves. I felt sorry for the staff.
