If there's already a thread like this, apologies & I will delete...was trying to fix our cellar door this a.m. and finally figured it out...but briefly contemplated starting this thread to solicit advice. Thought I should go ahead and do it anyway, for present/future reference.

I just replaced the belt on our washing machine. No duct tape, WD-40, or hammers required, just a phillips screwdriver and a cold beer.

Beer qualifies all answers. Nobody mentioned beer. After beer the answer is duct tape, WD-40 and a hammer. Hope you didn't pay too much for that fancy screwdriver.

BTW, your washing machine couldn't keep its pants up? Whats with that!

I tried to buy some washing machine suspenders, but the guy at the store told me that a bunch of old farts from Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan have bought them all out! :P:w

The answer would have been different if you'd have asked for braces. <_<

The really fancy one is the Philip Seymour Hoffman screwdriver.

We Canadians pity you poor Americans for not having the Robertson Screw, the best screw ever! (Okay, the second best :blush2: ).
