And maybe if it was Carl Wilson singing lead and the Beach Boys doing those harmonies then I would get it like you do, but that's not to say that I will gripe, because I will not, although I do think I will have a bowl of menudo sometime soon. GA Russell Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 Anybody know what album that's from? I think I have every one of his albums except one, and I'm not familiar with that song. The one I'm missing is from the mid 90s called something like Ocean Blue, so presumably it's from that, but maybe not. Quote
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted November 14, 2009 Author Report Posted November 14, 2009 BLUE PACIFIC (1990) : 4 songs produced by jeff lorber (incl what i showed you), 3 by Tommi LiPuma and 3 prod by WALTER BECKER!! pacific ocean blue, lol i havent really listened to popsicle toes much n stuff but i think the reason his 70s stuff isnt as good is cause his records need a lot of production to become amazing Quote
JSngry Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 I wonder if Tommy LiPuma's ever had menudo? Quote

Thanks chewy! I always liked Blue Pacific but it could use the "naked" treatment. There's good music underneath all those drum machines and synths. Quote
