I hadn't listened to him in a fairly long time, and had him in the back of my mind as just a very good Ayler-wannabe. Now my appreciation has really deepened. The Nessa, Ak-Ba, and Mustevic stuff (not to mention Sixty Minute Man) is all stellar. I've had the theme from "Voyage from Jericho" in my head for days, since last spinning Live in Europe.
