Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White - Perez Prado. Agree with Van Basten II. Outside of the big band era, if any jazz guy had a hit, you can bet the farm it only happened once. Ramsey Lewis - The In Crowd, A Hard Day's Night and Wade in the Water. Young-Holt Trio/Unlimited - Wack, Wack and Soulful Strut. I won't count Al Hirt's 1964 hits. I shouldn't count Soulful Strut! Pat Metheny is a 1 hit wonder by his own admission as "This is Not America" with David Bowie added to the PMG was a Top 40 hit in 1985 I think.
