GA Russell
Today whenever I log in, the drop down menu below my name in the upper right of the screen has dropped down, and it won't go away, even when I visit my messages. As a result, it covers up the link for "new posts since last visit". Any ideas?
Chuck Nessa
I've had trouble getting member dropdown too.
J.A.W.
No problem here (IE7 or Firefox 3.6.13). I have no idea what could be wrong. If you're using IE7, maybe clicking on the green/white "compatibility" button, right next to the address bar at the top of the page, will do the trick. If there's still a problem, perhaps Jim or one of the other moderators can help.
GA Russell
FWIW, I use Firefox.
J.A.W.
FWIW, I use Firefox. That's also my regular browser, and I don't have any problems. Weird.
GA Russell
It looks like my Firefox is the problem. I just had a problem posting on the bargain box thread. So now I have switched to IE, and so far, so good.
papsrus
I've called up the site on two different versions of Firefox (at home and at work) and don't have the dropdown problem you describe.
GA Russell
I've just downloaded Firefox 4 Beta 10, and I still have the same problem with it. I suppose that it is a nuisance that it has dropped down. But the problem is that there is apparently no way for it to go away. For example, when an ad appears on a website, you can make it go away by clicking the X on the upper right corner. But there is nowhere that I can see to click to make the drop down box go away. Christiern
I was going to recommend Viagra, but I guess I misread the thread heading.
BillF
I was going to recommend Viagra, but I guess I misread the thread heading. A bad case of poster's droop!
David Ayers
I'm having a problem with the ignore cheesy double-entendres button...
GA Russell
I have my Firefox set on automatic upgrade. Apparently I upgraded to Firefox 3.6 yesterday. A while back, when Firefox upgraded I could not read my hotmail email. That is also true today. Both hotmail and organissimo work fine with my IE. So my guess is that Firefox 3.6 is not ready for prime time. And as I say, the organissimo problem exists with Firefox 4 Beta 10 as well. GA Russell
As you can see, another problem is that although my post looks fine in the reply area, it comes out as one paragraph. I had the same problem yesterday with the bargain box thread.
GA Russell
Hallelujah, the problem's gone! Because I am using a Beta, there is a link to contact Mozilla about problems encountered, so I let them know. So thanks Mozilla, or thanks Jim!
