This morning I searched the app store and found an app called Disc Tracker that allows you to add your cd's to a database by scanning the barcode. I am going to try the free version. The app relies on the program for information so it isn't stand alone (I'm being redundant for emphasis purposes. ) It probably doesn't make sense in your case and certainly the cost is higher, but I thought I'd mention it as it is an option.
