marcello Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 I don't know how I recognized Jean Shrimpton, so I looked her up to make sure, and I found this: Hell, I'm not as handsome as I was in my 20's either! This one is better: Quote
GA Russell Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 Correct, Paul and marcello, it's Jean The Shrimp Shrimpton! marcello, you've ruined my day! lol I met Jean The Shrimp Shrimpton in 1968. She was known as "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World", and I wouldn't argue! She was polite but very businesslike, and not warm or particularly friendly. I figured that I would never meet a woman as beautiful as her for the rest of my life, but then (as I mentioned above) I met Stephanie Zimbalist in 1991. She was very charming, and I thought even better looking than Jean The Shrimp Shrimpton, but maybe I was only bedazzled by her charm. Quote
ValerieB Posted August 18, 2011 Report Posted August 18, 2011 i think i have to quote my late, very lady-like mother now: "getting old is a bitch"!!! Quote
