kinuta
25C and lovely today but we are in for a solid week of rain starting tomorrow. Just got back from a stay in Hokkaido, the temperature difference between there and here is incredible, 25 in Tokyo but only 13 in the south of Hokkaido. I thought I was back in a bad Yorkshire summer.

A Lark Ascending
According to yesterday's news we can expect summer in late September. According to this morning, it's due in 2013....perhaps! All to do with El Niño, they say.
Son-of-a-Weizen
Gonna hit 100 here on Thur. Do I really want to see Diana Krall that bad (at Wolf Trap)?
jeffcrom
It hit 106 degrees F today in Atlanta - the highest temperature ever recorded here.
A Lark Ascending
They're reporting the highest temperatures since the 30's over in your parts on the BBC news. And with storms knocking out a/c it must be pretty difficult. I once experienced New York close to 100 and it was not pleasant. Makes our wet weather seem small beer. Actually, clear blue sky this morning. Edited July 1, 2012 by A Lark Ascending
BFrank
It's summer in San Francisco - 64 degrees and foggy. Perfect!
Scott Dolan
Been in triple digits since Wednesday. Supposed to hit 102 today. High 90's Monday and Tuesday, then back into trips for the rest of the week. Lovely...
Tim McG
It's summer in San Francisco - 64 degrees and foggy. Perfect! Your fog is thanks to the heat generated in my little land o' enchantment. Getting more humid, too. Ugh. Trade ya
A Lark Ascending
After relentless cloud and rain since the end of May, we're promised the Jet Stream is moving north and summer is finally due this weekend. Just in time for the holidays!
paul secor
The heat finally broke today. Should be a couple days of relief.

Shawn
I don't post in this thread often, but it gets boring typing "Mid 70s and sunny" every day of the week almost year round.
