undergroundagent Posted January 28, 2004 Report Share Posted January 28, 2004 I just reacquired the "LTD in New York" album with Bobby Hutcherson, Blue Mitchell & Stanley Turrentine. As I recall, this was the only Pacific title ever released on CD and it smokes!! McCann's playing is truly underrated. They vibrate the blues with exuberance, and manage to generate their own unique groove. Maybe it's nothing fancy, but it's good enough me.
