skeith
I picked up some this week in NYC. I love the Miles stamp, but weirdly you can not buy it separately from the Piaf stamp (I mean no offense to the French, I hasten to add)

brownie
My stomach is strong enough to lick the Miles stamp. I'll abstain from doing the same with the Piaf one (never liked her as a person and no fan of her singing!).
jazzbo
They're possibly (probably?) self-adhesive.
GA Russell
Guys, you can order the Miles stamp here: https://store.usps.com/store/browse/uspsProductDetailMultiSkuDropDown.jsp?productId=S_469540&categoryId=subcatS_S_Sheets&categoryNavIds=&_requestid=1229289
gvopedz
Good luck. No stamps sighted in these here parts yet. Are you in Austin, TX? I found the stamps on Tuesday at the post office on the UT-Austin campus. The post office had at least half dozen sheets of the stamp. jazzbo
Alright, thanks. Not one of the post offices I frequent. I'm sure it will show up at the two nearest me soon (38th and Lamar, and 43rd and Speedway).
Chuck Nessa
I didn't know the stamp was being held, so I certainly didn't know it was released. Somewhere in Texas it seems. That figures.
Teasing the Korean
The Miles Davis stamp would have been better with the original cover of Miles Ahead.
alocispepraluger102
i got their last sheet. brownie's remarks notwithstanding, the davis-piaf release is a joint issue of france and u.s.
makpjazz57
Still looking for that Ellington quarter, too. I keep my one Ellington quarter in a safe place; strange that they are so hard to find...
Tjazz
I only saw 1 Ellington quarter. Really only like the Miles stamp, not the other half. Edited June 16, 2012 by Tjazz
GA Russell
My order of a sheet of the Miles stamp arrived today. Very attractive. I may put it in a frame.
