Steeplechase on Spotify

I started noticing Steeplechase titles on Spotify last night. I think this is new, at least in the U.S. I never saw their titles before when I browsed Bley & Dexter.

BF, when spotify started in the US a year ago, I read that the artist (as opposed to the record company) is paid $0.004 per song per play, up to a maximum of $0.04 per album per play.

It'll be easy enough since they already have the engineers from Lala, which they bought and so far have used mainly for the song matching technology.

I take it the royalties are not much different from what old fashioned FM radio generates if you divide the outcome with the number of listeners.
