slide_advantage_redoux Posted October 19, 2012 Report Posted October 19, 2012 What is the going rate for an LP cleaner like this? This guy is asking $25. Seems like a steal to me. It works he says. Quote
Teasing the Korean Posted October 19, 2012 Report Posted October 19, 2012 Not familiar with that brand or model. I would do some investigating. Quote
Stefan Wood Posted October 19, 2012 Report Posted October 19, 2012 I remember an old commercial that featured a record cleaner that looked like that -- perhaps the same one? I would pass, and look for a Spin Clean instead. Quote
JohnS Posted October 19, 2012 Report Posted October 19, 2012 I remember an old commercial that featured a record cleaner that looked like that -- perhaps the same one? Me too, back in the 60s. Never heard of anyone actually buying one. Quote
jazzbo Posted October 19, 2012 Report Posted October 19, 2012 I had a friend in the 'seventies with one like that, worked great but it was a dry cleaner, and will keep clean record clean, won't do a lot for dirty records that really need a wet cleaning. It's worthwhile to keep clean records clean and at the price it is a good deal. Quote

Stefan Wood Posted October 19, 2012 Report Posted October 19, 2012 I have a Spin Clean at home and while it is all manual, it works for me, and my records sound clean. Quote
mjzee Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 How do the 78's that Yazoo has on their compilations sound so good - do they use a VPI? Quote
