Gearbox records label out of centre

Last week I got 5 albums from the Gearbox label.

Really great music, but 3 of it have the label out of centre.

Big s###t, I d`nt like my tiny little cartridge tip ending on a record label.

Sounds this familiar to some of you?

Suprised to hear that - being an 'audiophile' company and all that. I'm sure that they will replace without quibble - don't have any of their releases so can't comment further as to whether this is a common problem.

None of my Gearbox LPs are like that. I've about 10 releases. All very good to excellent .

Watch your stylus!

We were only recently alerted to this post and you're quite right, on some of our earlier releases the labels were slightly larger and conceal the lock out groove.

However, don't confuse the squeal with hitting the label - this will not harm to the stylus.

Only had one problem with a release - some big ugly marks on the vinyl, though they oddly don't seem to affect play very much and I ended up keeping the album. Every other one has been perfect, and the music is absolutely great.
