Holy Ghost Posted May 3 Report Posted May 3 Not to fixate on labels, like I have an obsession with Blue Notes or something, but I have to say in my opinion, Sir Richard Branson's quality department details at Virgin Classics match Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff's detail for the highest quality of music in the most appealing of packaging. Like Lion and Wolff in the mid 60's, Branson even gets edgy with his side project, Virgin Venture, which released a Last Exit record. I place Branson right up there with the top producers in music, and this is the same dude that has bungee jumped off a Vegas hotel and flown in outer space. Wow. Cheers. Quote
