I usually buy any release from this label but skipped this when it was initially released in 2023, as I already have a dozen recordings of the "Friedemann Variations". as they should be called more appropriately. But it was offered a lower price when buying their latest relase with Bach's Trio Sonatas, so I finally got me a copy.

It is a revelation. Jean-Luc Ho delivers the two to three voices in these pieces with  astounding clarity, just like it was two or three hands of different players. Fascinating, and highly recommended.
