Prime British jazz nuggets of the year on CD1, contemporaneous US material from Prestige, Riverside, Contemporary etc. on CD2. Not the obvious stuff either (the likes of Ted Curson, Prince Lasha and John Wright are on there). Contrary to the cover, no John Jenkins and Kenny Burrell.
