The 2CD reissue is very good. Unfortunately it is missing 2 tracks that were issued on anthologies - Sweet and Lovely (10:32) and Not Just To Be In Love Again (7:17) Quote

Whoa, Strozier with a big band! Sign me up. Now playing: For Hawes-led sessions, I only have this, For Real! and a short session from a Savoy compilation. I need to pick up more because he was a brilliant pianist. Given my love for Roy Haynes and Cecil McBee, the Jazz Showcase album would be a logical choice. I agree with soulpope. Both volumes are outstanding.  The only downside is less than ideal audio fidelity.  Edited November 26, 2020 by HutchFan Quote

The 3 early albums on Contemporary are certainly very good, but I find he digs in a bit deeper on the Black Lion and MPS sessions. Ok and thanks for the Info.
