jazzbo Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago I used to be pretty blase about this album. Team ups in general don’t usually impress me much, and early on in my exploration of Jobim and first exposure to Regina. . .I just was not impressed. That has changed over time. I recently found an affordable copy of this sealed Japanese cd and am revisiting the session. Really enjoying it tonight! The system is really making this edition shine. Quote
jazzbo Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago A very cool morning. New pet Memphis is finally settled rather clumsily in the listening chair. Starting off with Charlie Haden Liberation Music Orchestra “Time/Life” Impulse cd Quote
jazzbo Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Yusef Lateef “Live at Ronnie Scott’s” cd This is a relatively mellow live date, with the blue elegance of Stan Tracey on piano and future Mahavishnu Orchestra member Rick Laird on bass. Edited 6 hours ago by jazzbo Quote
