jazzbo Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago I used to be pretty blase about this album. Team ups in general don’t usually impress me much, and early on in my exploration of Jobim and first exposure to Regina. . .I just was not impressed. That has changed over time. I recently found an affordable copy of this sealed Japanese cd and am revisiting the session. Really enjoying it tonight! The system is really making this edition shine. Quote
jazzbo Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago A very cool morning. New pet Memphis is finally settled rather clumsily in the listening chair. Starting off with Charlie Haden Liberation Music Orchestra “Time/Life” Impulse cd Quote
jazzbo Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Yusef Lateef “Live at Ronnie Scott’s” cd This is a relatively mellow live date, with the blue elegance of Stan Tracey on piano and future Mahavishnu Orchestra member Rick Laird on bass. Edited 11 hours ago by jazzbo Quote
