I overdid some physical activity yesterday and am paying for it this morning. Tobi and I took a flashlight walk and I struggled to keep up with his brisk pace. But. . . he’s so happy doing so that it made it okay for me. He’s such an awesome dog–I’ve never had a dog like him before, and wish I had. My one regret is that he won’t sit in the chair and listen with me often–most frequently he lies in front of me or behind my chair. I got so used to our two previous dogs loving to sit with me (even poor Memphis who was too big for the task but determined!)

A little warmer today than a few days ago, and dry. I’m starting off with the third show from the Greek Theater in the Grateful Dead Summer Magic 1985 box set (disc 6). I won’t say I’m enjoying this box set–it is reinforcing the reasons why I generally don’t listen to the Dead in the 'eighties–but I’m giving it a go and keeping an open mind.

Now on to . . . .I’m now listening to a disc in a re-listening project, the sixth cd in the Bob Dylan “Bob Dylan – The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings.” This is probably my least favorite Dylan period, but I’m finding ways to enjoy the music more this time through, and it is a very well-produced and well-presented box set, which was priced right. I WANT to like it more and more.
