Specifically, I'm currently listening to Jug & Co. play Neil Diamond's "Play Me", a most unlikely vehicle which they somehow make work out all right.  Are there many other jazz versions of Neil Diamond songs?

Lena Horne was the guest host on show # 77 and sang a pair of songs.  Ella Fitzgerald, although not mentioned on the CD cover, was also a guest on show # 78.  Dexter Gordon was in the Fletcher Henderson band heard here and the Cootie Williams band included Eddie Vinson and Bud Powell.
