Hardbopjazz Posted April 23, 2017 Report Posted April 23, 2017 Does anyone suffer from tinnitus? If so, anything you do to help decrease the ringing or take your mind off the ringing? Quote
xybert Posted April 23, 2017 Report Posted April 23, 2017 Yup. Mines not too bad, similar frequency to a CRT TV. It's always there but not bad enough to keep me from sleeping etc and i can forget about it sometimes. No tips for decreasing it sorry mate. I'm conscious of things that exacerbate it like caffeine, alcohol, being tired, being sick. I do everything i can to avoid further damage. Quote
mjzee Posted April 23, 2017 Report Posted April 23, 2017 I find that when the ringing gets louder, it's related to higher blood pressure. As I relax, the ringing decreases. See if you find whether that relationship works for you too. Quote

Hardbopjazz Posted April 23, 2017 Author Report Posted April 23, 2017 My daughter is the one with tinnitus. She does have anxiety/stress which I think elevates the ringing. Quote
