Franz Koglmann reissues on Black Monk

Two very interesting reissues seem to have snuck out. 'Opium For Franz' and 'Flaps'. CD and vinyl.

If anyone has a line on US distribution for these, please let me know. Dusty Groove had both for a minute, still have Opium, but no Flaps. I don't know that a restock is coming.

A friend of mine sourced some copies of the LP reissues direct, it's possible he could do the same for the CDs; if a few people we're interested I could check in with him about that.

After poking around a bit, these appear to have been Record Store Day 2019 titles. The LPs are still readily available but the CDs not so much. I'm afraid that they might be tough to come across...which is a bummer because I really enjoy Koglmann. Particularly the Hat stuff that he's done.

The CDs were just released this year, they are available.

I emailed the blackmonk address and got a swift reply. The discs are $15 each with shipping of $6.50 for the first and $2 for each additional to the US.

The charge was actually for Euros not US dollars...

I remember that CD being terribly mastered.
