The sound of the alto player reminds me a bit of the sound of Charlie Mariano on Mingus´ "Black Saint and Sinner Lady"

Wonderful composition, it has a moving quality and made my day. And really beautiful video.

Usually not my sort of bag, but that was exceptional. Really works with the visual. Would this be considered a 'walking ballad'? It is in some way reminiscent of 'Ask Me Now'.

thanks, and maybe so. I tend to like that tempo for ballads, very similar to the way Earl Hines used to handle them.
