The record label that’s reissuing Reminicent Suite and that reissued a dozen other great J Jazz records put out a book now that looks pretty interesting:

That looks indeed as if it fills a gap in the book market we'd discussed before...

We discussed this briefly on the Japanese Jazz Reissues thread.

Looks to me like too much album covers, too little text, so I'd have to see more details.

And shipping to US is likely to be prohibitive unless domestic vendors (Dusty Groove, etc.) elect to stock it.

Book is billed as being cover art, so truth in advertising there anyways.

I still haven't purchased the Sun Ra album covers book, and that's a higher priority. Though this volume is attractive.
