I never gave much thought to what Padma Lakshmi likes to listen to in the kitchen, but if I had, I certainly would not have guessed that Alice Coltrane's "Journey in Satchidananda" would be on the list.  #JazzFromDetroit.

I stopped with Bravo years ago. Top Chef was the last series of theirs that I watched and then even it got silly.

Hard to believe that they began as a performing arts network that only showed commercials between programs!

Except for Top Chef, the network is awful but considering they keep making these strange programs like Housewives of this or that, someone must be watching.

Apparently he didn't have many good things to say about that marriage but that's from word of mouth as I haven't read that memoir.
