Any recommendations on where to buy CD jewel cases? Better yet, just the front covers.

I don't think the pieces are sold separately. But I think Office Depot stocks them, 10 for $5.

(Too bad you didn't say something sooner. When I switched to the three ring binder system of CD storage, I pitched about 2400 jewel boxes, and just saved a few on the assumption that there will be some CDs I'll end up selling.)

Try www.am-dig.com, if you want to spend over forty dollars altogether to avoid their charge for orders lower than that. (Not at all hard for ME to do there!) You can buy the cases without the centers there at a good price.

American Digital has cases without trays for $.12 each (when you buy 200). Seriously, they're only $.19 each for 50 so they are one of the cheapest places around.

If you just need a few, there's always Target, but it'll be more like .30 (in packs of ten) than .19.

Jewel cases are idiotic, but I can't part with them. I like having my discs on a shelf, choosing music by the spine. I can't find a decent alternative. Damnit.

I used to get mine at Tower, before they imploded. I like the 2-CD cases! Real space-savers.
