JSngry Posted October 15 Author Report Posted October 15 The Dodger starters so far have been incredible. Reminds me of the days of Koufax/Drysdale. Quote
Dan Gould Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 I have absolutely no dog in this hunt but maybe the Jays having home field will keep the Dodgers at bay. If forced to choose at gunpoint I'd rather not have the Dodgers win. But I really don't GAF and might even manage not to see a single pitch the rest of the way. Quote

JSngry Posted October 21 Author Report Posted October 21 I had no real interest in watching Ohtani until seeing that 10K, 3cHR game. That was otherworldly. Dodgers Death Star screen very real at this time. ust hoping that the Jays make it competitive for how many games it goes These have been pretty entertaining playoff, maybe a bit more than usual. JSngry Posted October 25 Author Report Posted October 25 Never underestimate a triggered and protective Blue Jay. Those suckers come a-peckin'! Quote
Brad Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 During the spring and summer we have about eight or nine of them here but now that winter is approaching they’ve all left except one or two. Quote
JSngry Posted October 26 Author Report Posted October 26 That Yamamoto cat is old school like a mo, pitching complete games and shit. I respect the absolute fuck out of that!!!! Quote

JSngry Posted October 28 Author Report Posted October 28 He volunteered his availability! And there it is Quote
ghost of miles Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 Is it over yet?! Wowza! 18 innings, that’s a bonus World Series game right there. Quote
JSngry Posted October 29 Author Report Posted October 29 All I had hoped for from the Jays was that they keep it interesting. Exceeding expectations! Quote
ghost of miles Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 Damn, Toronto made L.A. into Blue Jay Way! Their next and potentially last test, should they pass it: solving Yamamoto. Quote

I feel the Dodger's will-to-win has been badly bruised. All in all, I would prefer to avoid a Game 7 as there's too much tension around the city already... Quote

I feel ya, but all the better going back home up 3-2 instead of down 3-2. They need to at least tax Yamamoto and get him out of the game relatively early enough to take advantage of L.A.'s bullpen.
