He was a great hockey player and a lawyer, member of parliament, an author, and no doubt much more.  6 Stanley Cups, the last 4 in a row.

Wrote maybe the best book about pro hockey, The Game.

In the prime of his career, retired and held out for the entire '73-'74 season in a contract dispute. Instead he worked as a law clerk and finished his law studies.
